I was skeptical about using an eSIM for my first Kenya safari but this was seamless. Connected to Safaricom immediately at the airport, had 4G most of the time even in the bush. Only lost signal in a few remote spots which is expected. Would 100% use again.
Used this for 15 days across mainland Tanzania and Zanzibar. Signal was strong in Zanzibar town and Stone City. In the Serengeti it was obviously limited but I still got signal near the lodges. Setup took literally 2 minutes.
Bought the 10-day plan for Cape Town and a Kruger safari. City coverage was fantastic, better than I get at home in some parts. Kruger was decent too — I could still WhatsApp my family from the camp. Great value compared to roaming fees.

Went to Bwindi for gorilla trekking and was amazed I had signal near the park headquarters. Not always deep in the forest obviously, but at the lodge and town I had solid 4G. Customer support also responded within an hour when I had a setup question.

Nairobi had blazing fast 4G. The Mara had decent signal near the camps. Amboseli was patchier but still usable. My carrier wanted $15/day for international roaming — this cost me a fraction of that for a week. Game changer for African travel.
Addis Ababa worked great. The historic north (Lalibela, Axum, Gondar) was hit-and-miss — sometimes 4G, sometimes nothing. But that's expected in remote Ethiopia. For the price and the cities it's excellent value. Setup was instant.
Two-week trip through South Africa and coverage was consistently good. The Garden Route was excellent — Garden City is very well connected. Kruger camps all had WiFi anyway so even the gaps were fine. Great product, great price.
