Used this for 15 days across mainland Tanzania and Zanzibar. Signal was strong in Zanzibar town and Stone City. In the Serengeti it was obviously limited but I still got signal near the lodges. Setup took literally 2 minutes.
Scanned the QR code at home before flying. When we landed in Dar es Salaam the eSIM connected automatically. No queues at the airport, no swapping SIM cards, no roaming charges on my UAE number. This is the only way to travel.
I climbed Kili and had signal up to around 3,500m at Horombo Huts. Obviously above that nothing, but being able to call home from base camp was incredible. Zanzibar was perfect too. Activating this before my trip was the best decision I made.
